Description
The Életjel Rescue Group’s Aerial Firefighting Service supports aerial firefighting operations and rapid-response firefighting operations using a specially modified Antonov AN-2 aircraft.
Our aircraft is equipped with a 1,500-litre fire-fighting system and is capable of operating from smaller, grass airstrips, meaning it can be deployed quickly even in difficult conditions. Our mission is to support ground-based fire-fighting units, slow the spread of forest fires, and protect human lives, forests, wildlife and communities.
As a non-profit search and rescue organisation, we rely on community support for our operations and development. Donations contribute towards fuel costs, maintenance, firefighting equipment, protective gear and maintaining constant operational readiness.
Every donation directly supports the operation and development of our aerial firefighting capabilities.
