Ciro and his nanny want to give everyone a big hug for your immense generosity.

In the end, I haven’t spoken to the vet yet, but for now the little one is improving with the treatment I’ve attached.

Description

Ciro is an 8-year-old cat whom his human ‘mum’ adores. He is eight years old and has been suffering from serious intestinal problems for the past few months. He is wasting away before our very eyes.

His owner is desperate, but she comes from a modest background and has several other pets. She loves them all and looks after them as best she can, but this time she’s at a loss.

She plucked up the courage to ask me for help.

As a volunteer, I too am always struggling to cope with emergencies of all kinds.

But I thought I’d reach out to the many people in Livorno and across Italy who love animals and who know how much, unfortunately, vet bills are a nightmare for many.

For the initial consultation alone, including an ultrasound and biopsy, the quote is €225.00. Moreover, the surgeon she has consulted has already saved the lives of several cats with the same problem by removing the damaged section of intestine.

Please do not ignore the bond of love between Ciro and his carer, and please make even the smallest donation. Every contribution is truly precious to this family.

Thank you
