Description
Hello everyone,
I come before you with an open heart, at a time when life has put me through a trial I never imagined.
Following a road accident, my life has changed radically: I am left with monoplegia in my left hand, having suffered severe damage to my left ulnar nerve
At present, I cannot use my hand from the elbow down, including two of my fingers.
The neurosurgeons’ diagnosis is unanimous: there is a chance of partial recovery, but the road ahead is long (between six months and a year) and involves surgery and extremely costly rehabilitation therapies.
Beyond the physical pain, the hardest blow came on a personal and family level:
I lost my job, as I was unable to carry out my duties.
I am a parent of two children: a seven-and-a-half-year-old boy and an 18-year-old girl who needs support as she approaches adulthood.
But the greatest pain, the one that keeps me awake at night, is the fact that I cannot lift my little boy in my arms.
This fundraising campaign is my only hope of becoming a whole person again for my family.
The money raised will be used exclusively for: The necessary surgery on the ulnar nerve.
Long-term physiotherapy and rehabilitation sessions.
Supporting my family’s daily expenses whilst I am unable to work.
Why does your help matter? We’re not just asking for money; we’re asking for a chance at a normal life.
Any donation, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to the day when I will be able to hold my children in my arms again with both hands.
If you are unable to donate, I beg you to share this post.
A simple share could reach the person who can make a difference.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your solidarity and kindness!
