Three months ago, on 28 February, after an ophthalmologist check-up with my daughter Adelina, aged 4 years and 9 months, I found out that she has a very rare but quite aggressive cancer: retinoblastoma. The tumour is located in her right eye and unfortunately the doctors have informed us that she will no longer be able to see out of that eye , but all they can do is to save and destroy the tumour so that it doesn't spread to any other part of her body, especially the brain. We were sent to the Marie Curie Hospital in Bucharest, where we started chemotherapy sessions to try to stop the disease, and now after 4 sessions , the doctors have directed us to go to Lausanne, Switzerland , to continue the treatments and investigations , because the chances of being able to save the eye are much higher abroad. It is going to be quite an expensive period considering the costs, the travelling we are going to do, that's why I would like to ask for your help, both spiritual and financial ( I mention that I was ashamed to ask for help) , but I believe with all my heart that God will support us and He, the Supreme Physician will touch her body.
