Years of health issues, severe medical conditions and stress, and we still worked very hard to have as good life as possible. Unfortunately, in today’s economy we were unable to reach our goal to have our own, private, piece of happiness and joy. A home!

My husband (44) moved countries to be with me (31) where he doesn’t speak the language and understand the culture, made me the happiest person on the planet, and then had a stroke 2 months after our wedding day, lost his job, didn’t get paid. The terrifying days ahead were full of genuine fear, sadness, but also hope, all while we were stuck in a loop of an existential crisis. Covid happened, no work, sustained on one salary, including supporting my parents, lots of debt, no way out. It’s been a struggle since.

To this day we are unable to stand solidly on our own 2 feet. They say you’re not weak if you ask for help, so we thought we’d give it a try.

We turn to each other for love and support, but we would like to build something we can nurture together and live out our dream.
