Metal isn’t just music. It’s a way of life, a rebellious spirit, honesty, and sometimes a right old mess of cables and empty cans behind the stage.

We areParanoid.si, the first and oldest Slovenian online magazine, which has been going strong since 1999, devotedly covering the Slovenian metal scene entirely on a voluntary basis, without any external financial support, driven solely by our love for the music and the scene.

Every day we publishnews, reviews, interviews, reports and galleries– from the very beginning, honestly, creatively, with a lot of heart and treating everyone equally. On top of that, we maintainthe most reliable and always up-to-date metal gig guide for Slovenia and the surrounding area, because someone’s got to make sure the metal crowd doesn’t miss the next blast of distortion.

The team today consists of almost30 members/volunteers ( of whom only three are proofreaders – so the odd mistake slips through, but we all know that metal can withstand anything except insincerity). On average, we publish15 news items a dayandone feature article, yet we still find time to go to gigs and lose our voices and our minds in the front rows.

We’re currently working ona new, fourth redesign of the site, because even metalheads sometimes click too fast and we don’t want the site to crash. That’s why we needyour support.
