Metal is not just music. It's a way of life, it's tough, it's honest and sometimes it's a mess of cables and empty cans behind the stage.

We are Paranoid.si, the first and the oldest Slovenian online newspaper, which has been devotedly and sacrificially covering the Slovenian metal scene since 1999, on a completely voluntary basis, without any external financial support, just with an inner love for music and the scene.

Every day we publish news, reviews, interviews, reports and galleries - from the very beginning, honestly, creatively, with a big heart and with equality for all. We also maintain the most reliable and always up-to-date metal gig announcer in Slovenia and the surrounding area, because someone has to make sure that the metal community doesn't miss the next blast of distortion.

The team today consists of almost 30 members/volunteers (only three of them are proofreaders - so sometimes something escapes us, but we all know that metal can take anything but insincerity). On average we publish 15 news items a day and one main article, but we still find time to go to gigs and lose our voices and our heads in the front rows.

We are currently working on a new, fourth redesign of the portal, because even metalheads sometimes click too fast and we don't want the site to crash. That's why we need your support.
