My name is Florin Dimofte, and I am a father to a beautiful 7-year-old girl. She is the reason I keep going, even when life has brought me to my knees more times than I can count.

I live with Type 1 diabetes, neuropathy, retinopathy, hypertension, and I have suffered multiple strokes. On top of that, I battle anxiety and depression every single day.

These are not just medical terms — they are my daily reality.

There are days when I can barely function. Nights when I cannot sleep. And moments when my daughter looks at me, wishing for “the dad I used to be”... and I have no words to comfort her.

Right now, I survive on a disability pension of about €260/month (1281 RON). It barely covers basic needs — it is not a life, just survival.

But I don’t want to give up. I don’t want to depend on help forever. I want to work. I want to stand on my own feet again.

📌 My dream is to start a small smoker & barbecue fast-food business.

This is not just a dream — it is the only realistic way for me to work, at my own pace, considering my health condition.

I am not asking for an easy way out.

I am asking for a chance.

I want to be able to look my daughter in the eyes and say:

“Your dad didn’t give up.”

• Starting the small business
• Gaining independence and stability

I am not asking for pity.

I am asking for an opportunity to rebuild my life.
