Dear friends and family,
I would like to share a difficult situation that my sister is facing. She suffers from a chronic gastroenterological disease and, unfortunately, treatment in her home country of Brazil is impossible. She urgently needs specialised medical care, which can be provided here in Belgium.
However, the treatment is quite expensive, especially as she doesn't have a Belgian document, and each night of hospitalisation costs €1,300. She will need to stay in hospital for at least 7 days, which makes the total cost high.
Any help, no matter how small, will go a long way towards helping my sister receive the treatment she needs. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your solidarity and support at this difficult time.
