Our organisation helps homeless people who are in a life crisis. There are currently around 33,000 homeless people in Sweden.

The people who come to us often have a very colourful background with years of homelessness and often severe substance abuse problems and have therefore been gradually excluded from society. Which means that they also do not receive any help from, for example, social services. This means that our main goal is to first ensure that the individual first comes in from the cold to a bed and hot meal and then the goal is to reintegrate and include these people to become a productive member of society again. We have been there for several hundred people over the years, we have been able to be a help when others have not helped. The Good Foundation, located in Gästrike Hammarby Gävleborg, has been operating for 22 years since 2002. During the pandemic, the business was threatened with closure as it was difficult to keep the business going. We received four families during that period who were Ukrainian refugees. Now we have taken a decision to continue our activities. We have 1 full-time employee who mainly works administratively and other staff work voluntarily. We are a team of competent staff with a doctor, nurse specialising in psychiatry, alcohol and drug therapist. Our director is a pastor and also the founder of GF. We have apartments available for homeless people.
