My fiery desire is that women have the same opportunities as men in business. Let's be real, we cannot achieve that if we don't create the opportunities for that to happen.

Despite significant progress in gender equality, women still face immense challenges in the startup world, particularly when it comes to raising funds. In 2023, women-founded startups received just 2.1% of venture capital funding, a shockingly low figure considering the talent, innovation, and potential women bring to the business world. By contrast, male-founded startups received 97.9% of the available venture capital, highlighting a stark imbalance.

This gap exists even though women-led startups are shown to generate more revenue per dollar invested, outperforming their male counterparts by 63%. Unfortunately, systemic biases and a lack of access to investor networks continue to hold women back.

-Organise networking meet-ups where female entrepreneurs meet each other. I need to rent venues for that.

-Invite on-site and online female or male speakers to inspire our women to start their businesses or continue in the fight of growing a business by themselves. I will need to sponsor their allowance and accommodation.

-Contact mentors who help me set educational modules for entrepreneurship. I need to pay for their hard work.

-Host online events to support women who cannot travel for the in-person meet-ups. I will need to pay a professional streaming platform.

-Create a digital platform where startups and investors interested in them can meet each other. I need to hire developers full time to make it work.

-Start a promotion campaign for the initiative. I need to hire marketing services.
