In 2014 an unconscious young motorcycle driver hit my mother on Galatsiou Street and to this day she cannot walk or talk or move any of her limbs.
the driver being an insurer and the insurance company being in collusion with the courts came to a conclusion that my mom who went to cross the road was 80% to blame because there was no crossing there, even though the passing vehicles (who were witnesses in court) gave her the right of way.I should also say that the criminal court unlike the civil court convicted him that it was his fault because he was speeding.
Unfortunately, we can't afford the costs.
