We need help so that we don’t lose our home!

My name is Beatrix Galcsik; I’m a teacher. All my life I’ve worked for others, bringing up children, teaching them and guiding them along the right path. My husband earns a living as a construction worker, and together, through the hard work of our own two hands, we have built a home where we live. We have poured not only all our savings and possessions into this house, but also all our free time and our very souls over the years. Now, however, a single decision could take everything away from us. The bank has called in our mortgage and is demanding 9 million forints from us in a single lump sum. If we cannot pay this, we will lose our home. This does not just mean that we will lose our home, but also that we will find ourselves in a debt from which there is no turning back. To this day, we have been doing everything we can to persuade the bank to cooperate, but it does not seem to be working. We’d like to pay; we’d have settled the arrears too, and we’ve asked for the loan to be reinstated, but so far to no avail. I have never asked for help in my life, but now we have no other option and I feel the situation is completely hopeless; I want to help my family more than anything, as we are raising three children, but unfortunately I cannot pay such a large sum. I know this is a huge issue, and our family is prepared to do anything to resolve the situation. We would like to ask for your support in this matter.
