Rareș is only 6 years old, and his life has been a struggle from the very first moment.

He was born prematurely at 30 weeks, weighing just 1,150 grams. Since then, his childhood has been spent more in hospitals, undergoing tests and treatments than playing and enjoying the joys that every child deserves.

Rareș has been diagnosed with hydrocephalus, cerebral atrophy, epilepsy, severe psychomotor delay and other complex conditions that profoundly affect his development. He does not speak, cannot walk unaided and is fed via a gastric tube. Every day is a challenge, both for him and for his family.

Nevertheless, Rareș never stops fighting. Every smile of his, every small step forward and every better day gives us the strength to carry on and to hope.

After years of searching, therapies and consultations, we have found a possible chance for Rareș: a stem cell treatment and neurological rehabilitation in Paris, scheduled for August. The total cost of the treatment is €27,000, a sum we cannot cover on our own.
