Humanitarian Appeal for George Cracun: Support for a Leader and His Community

We are writing to you today to share the story of George Cracun, born on 10 December 1976. George is a dedicated man and an inspirational leader, diagnosed with muscular dystrophy. Despite his personal challenges, George is the president of the organisation “VIITORUL”, a vital association that provides support and resources to people with disabilities in his community.

George is a fighter and a role model for many. Through “VIITORUL”, he works tirelessly to improve the lives of those around him, offering emotional support, access to information, counselling services and advocacy for the rights of people with disabilities. However, his progressive illness and limited resources place enormous pressure on him and on the organisation’s work.

George is not just fighting for himself, but for an entire community. By supporting George, we are also supporting the vital work he does for people with disabilities. We believe that a dedicated leader like George deserves our full support to continue his mission of creating a more inclusive and fairer world for everyone. Every donation will help improve George’s life and strengthen the work of the “VIITORUL” organisation. The funds raised will be used for:

Medical treatment and therapy: Funding the treatments, therapies and medical devices needed to manage multiple sclerosis and maintain George’s quality of life.

Support for the "VIITORUL" organisation: Securing the resources needed to continue providing essential services to people with disabilities, including counselling, information, legal assistance and the organisation of events and activities.

Accessibility: Adapting George’s workspace and home to make them more accessible and enable him to move around and work independently.

Covering operational costs: Supporting the administrative and operational costs of the "VIITORUL" organisation to ensure the continuity of its work.
