New campaign "THEIR TIME" - we fill the daily lives of Seniors with meaning and joy 💜
Nursing homes are not just places of care - they are spaces of daily life that, without attentive presence and care, can easily turn into routine and loneliness. That is why we have launched a new campaign , 'THEIR TIME', which aims to take care of the mental and emotional wellbeing of Seniors.
As part of the campaign, we organise workshops, meetings and outings that restore joy and build a sense of community. One of the first events was a dance class in which our charges - Ms Danusia and Ms Jadzia - dared to perform on stage after 15 lessons!

The funds raised go towards:
☕ workshops and cultural outings,
🆘 psychological support for female and male DPS residents,
👥 intergenerational activities,
📣 social campaigns to remind us that Seniors are important and visible.
We believe that old age deserves more than survival. Help us make everyday life in DPSs full of warmth, passion and relationships. This really is THEIR TIME.

Description
A dignified old age starts with small gestures – join us!
Growing old should be a time of peace, warm memories and care. Unfortunately, for many Polish seniors, everyday life looks very different. Over 100,000 people live in care homes and long-term care facilities, which often fail to provide adequate conditions for a dignified life. Many of these places are neglected, resembling cold hospitals rather than cosy homes where older people could feel safe and comfortable.
We can change this – together with you!

Why should you help?
Care homes in Poland have been struggling with underfunding for years. There is a lack of basic equipment that could make daily life easier for older people. Often, there is also a lack of funds for renovations, meaning these places do little to foster a sense of security and warmth. Seniors living in such facilities often feel lonely and excluded. Isolation from the outside world robs them of their joy of life, yet each of them has their own needs, dreams and the right to happiness.

Our “Santa Claus for Seniors” Foundation was established to show that every senior deserves attention, care and the feeling that their voice is heard. Our mission is not only to fulfil their festive dreams, but also to improve their quality of life throughout the year.
How do we work?
Since 2018, we have been making a positive difference to the lives of Polish seniors. We began our journey with the annual “Letters to Santa” campaign, in which residents of care homes share their needs and dreams. Thanks to the support of people with big hearts, last year as many as 15,756 seniors from 213 care homes across Poland received special gifts – ranging from warm blankets and cosy slippers to more personal wishes.

We quickly realised, however, that the needs of senior citizens do not end with Christmas. The marginalisation of older people is a serious problem in Poland, which is why we work all year round to provide them not only with momentary joy, but also with lasting help and support. Thanks to the commitment of our donors, a small initiative has grown into a Foundation whose activities include:
• Material assistance – we support care homes with renovations and refurbishments to make them more welcoming and comfortable for their residents.
• Emotional support – our social campaigns remind older people that they are important and deserve attention, care and respect.
• Combating loneliness – we organise initiatives that bring seniors together with people wishing to offer them support and build relationships.

Thanks to our joint efforts, we can proudly say that our support is not just for special occasions, but every day. We believe that together we can ensure that the twilight years of Polish seniors are filled with warmth, care and dignity.
Why is your help so important?
Your support is not just material aid, but also a real change in the lives of seniors, who often feel forgotten. Every zloty, every small gesture, every share makes a huge difference, because together we can show them that they are not alone.
How will we use the funds raised?
• Gifts and support for the elderly – small tokens that will bring them joy and a smile.
• Equipping care homes with basic, and often missing, items such as towels, bed linen and hygiene products.
• Renovations and upgrades – to make care homes a more welcoming place to live.
• The Foundation’s activities, which make all this possible – organising and coordinating projects, providing accounting and legal support, maintaining servers, and paying the salaries of those who work with great dedication every day to fulfil our mission.
It is these activities that allow us to operate efficiently and effectively, reaching out to seniors in need across Poland. Every donation is a step towards real change – both material and organisational.
Our aim is not only to provide material support, but above all to restore seniors’ faith in people. We want them to feel noticed, valued and cared for.
The media are talking about us – joint support that inspires!
Our Foundation has gained significant recognition and interest in the media, which regularly report on our activities. We are proud to be able to share our initiatives with a wider audience. Thanks to media reports, articles and interviews, more and more people are learning about the needs of seniors in Poland and joining us to help!

Why is the media important?
By publicising our work, we have the chance to reach people who want to change the world for the better – step by step. Media coverage showcases our projects, the stories of older people and the results of the support we’ve managed to achieve together with you.

Well-known figures support our mission
We are delighted to see that our work also inspires well-known figures. Artists, actors, journalists and influencers promote our campaigns, share our fundraising appeals and get personally involved in helping older people. Their support not only raises awareness but also encourages their fans and followers to take action.

Together we can do more!
Let old age be a time full of warmth, peace and dignity. Your support – whether financial, emotional or by sharing our fundraising campaigns – is a step towards a better life for seniors in Poland.
Support us and help show that caring for others really does make a difference!
