Warm regards to you all!

It is with my heart in my hand that I find myself writing these words, trying to cope with a particularly difficult period in my life. Due to financial difficulties, I find myself in a situation of need that I can no longer manage on my own.

Those who know me are well aware that I have never asked anyone for anything; on the contrary, I have always helped others, often even beyond my means. But I am not here to list my good deeds; I simply want you to understand that asking for help when I cannot manage on my own causes me deep distress.

I’ve tried everything, but as you know, when you lose your job, security is scarce, and my current work situation (which is, moreover, undeclared) only provides me with the bare minimum to keep from ‘going under’. As a first step to raising money, I sold off everything of value I owned, but it still isn’t enough. Those who could really have helped me have ‘gone into hiding’, whilst those who couldn’t help me actually did lend a hand (without asking), and I’ll always be in their debt – my true friends.

C’est la vie.

For the past three years, I’ve had a family and I have to put my pride aside and ask for help.

My partner and I used to have good jobs and some savings, but in seven months our lives have changed completely... we’re certainly not sitting idly by, but the arrears are too much and we can’t manage... What’s more, we’re involved in a legal case as the injured party against our former employers, but the authorities aren’t exactly quick off the mark, unfortunately…

I’ll say it again: it’s not easy to ask for help, but time is running out and my family needs me. Donations will mainly be used to cover mortgage payments and pay overdue bills... our gas supply has even been cut off, and I’m not ashamed to say it... unfortunately, I’ve failed... but the house is the problem that worries us most.
