Good evening to everyone and everything. My name is Dimitris Nikopoulos and I have been living in Chania for the past few years. In 2023, my iron and haematocrit levels dropped, and after a series of tests lasting two years, they found a tumour in my small intestine.In October 2025, I underwent surgery on my small intestine and the area was completely cleared.A biopsy was carried out and I was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer: clear cell sarcoma of the small intestine. In April 2026, during a routine check-up, metastasis to the liver was detected, with two active lesions. In two weeks’ time, I am due to undergo surgery at the only sarcoma centre in Greece, at the Athens Medical Centre. It is urgent that I raise the funds for the operation to prevent the tumour from growing.
