Save Brzezinka – Keep the Heart of Grotowski’s Work Alive!

Brzezinka – the legendary forest base of the Grotowski Institute – is in danger.

This historic brick building, where Jerzy Grotowski developed his research on paratheatre and the Theatre of Sources in the 1970s, needs urgent care.

We have already taken the first steps: in spring we repaired the floor, and this summer Brzezinka came back to life, full of people, art, and energy.

But as winter approaches, humidity and cold threaten to damage the space.

We need two powerful fireplaces to keep Matecznik – the main work hall – warm and dry.

Our goal: 10,000 PLN (approx. 2,500 EUR).
