I am a disabled teacher/translator living in Poland. I'm currently working as much as I can, but recently my disability benefit ended, so I'm catastrophically short of funds.

The reason for this fundraiser is that due to recent alarming medical circumstances - incontinence and bloody stools - I'm in urgent need of a colonoscopy. Unfortunately, I can't wait to have it done in the Polish state health service, because the earliest available appointments are in 2027/2028.

This means I have to go private, which costs. I have an appointment booked for 2/12/2025, and by that time I need to raise €750 to cover the cost of the procedure itself and analysis of any samples taken.

Any funds raised will go exclusively towards this operation and nothing else.
