Hello my name is Gareth and I’m from the south east of Ireland over the past few years I’ve passionate and supportive and stand for men’s mental health and I wish to raise money to do a charity skydive in honour of men and for men’s mantle health. which is very important,

I have first hand experience personally and am familiar with the effects of bad mental health, stigmas and what we consider to be social norms.

I have seen the tragic results of bad mentle health in men and teenage boys and I’ve also saw how family’s struggle to cop with losing brothers, fathers, sons, uncles nephews, cousins, it’s not right and should never be the outcome

Every year in Ireland a lot of men do not reach out to services because of social stigmas like not showing feelings being to manly to talk or simply just don’t have the confidence.

this is a rising issue and many more men will suffer if awareness is not made and services provided. government action needs to be taken and these much needed mental health services should be available in all schools across Ireland as this will help remove stigmas from future generations and furnish young boys and men with the tools to combating stigmas and making way for a more positive thinking strategy for men to see that talking about issue they face is ok, talking about how they feel is ok. Men simply need to know they matter, they are loved and have supports everywhere

I feel strong about this topic and passionate about keeping a healthy mind. Please help me reach my goal and let’s get the message out there that men’s matter.
