Help us keep our family home

We are going through a difficult time and today we are turning to you with our hearts in our hands. We are a humble family who have lived in this home for years, but now we are at risk of losing it. We are two months behind on our €800 rent, an amount that may seem small to some, but for us it is a mountain we have been unable to climb.

My parents, due to health problems, are unable to work. I am their 26-year-old son, and I am the sole breadwinner for our family. I work hard to cover our basic needs, but this financial blow has been too much to bear. What’s more, we have pets who are part of our family, and moving to another place would be extremely difficult, not only because of our financial situation, but because we wouldn’t be able to find somewhere that accepts our beloved animals.

This home is more than just a roof over our heads; it is where we have built our memories, where we feel safe and where we are together as a family. Losing it would mean being uprooted and facing an uncertainty we do not know how to handle.

Today, we ask you to lend us a helping hand. Any contribution, however small, will bring us one step closer to keeping our home and, above all, our stability. Your help can make the difference between losing everything and having the chance to keep fighting as a united family.

As a son, I am encouraged to know that soon my brother will help me, and I won’t be alone, and my father will be able to go back to work; if necessary, if there were a way to pay the money back in the future, I am doing this because it is one of my last options; I would rather not pay the bank debts and just focus on being able to pay our rent.
