Dear bees,

As you might have heard, we decided to take a stand to defend our ability to use the name Milk’n’Honey in future endeavours.

When we named the Festival, created the logo and whole brand identity late 2022-early 2023 we were not aware that there is a sex club in Prague called exactly that! Our bad for not making an exhaustive research at the very start. But at the same time we trust the name has come to us for a reason.

At first, we even thought of dropping the case, saving ourselves the trouble and the money, and changing the name to… something like Melissae. 

BUT there are times when using the sting is the right relationship to the situation! And this is one of them.

We wholeheartedly believe in the name Milk’n’Honey. It is part of our shamanic journey and ancient wisdom unravelling. Over the last years we have created a whole mythology around Milk and Honey archetypes. And we feel it is not exhausted yet! We want to keep exploring deeper themes and keep learning from the bees (as well as dive deeper into the milk mythologies).

The name was channelled by Janka 3,5 years ago on her Shamanic Womb Journey on the sacred Red Earth Temple by Janine Ma-Ree’s land of Australia. 

Milk’n’Honey Festival is our unique take on healing and transformation of the collective through the Polish land and Slavic traditions. We have no business in the Czech Republic lands. The other owners, however, made a trademark claim for the name for Poland where they have no previous activities. We believe this falls under unfair competition and our trademark lawyers are very positive on us being able to defend our name in Poland by opposing their trademark claim.

This process is already underway. 

NOW, after this third edition of Milk’n’Honey, during which we truly embodied the collective quality of supporting each other… we still felt the urge to cover the legal process costs by ourselves. To push on and do it all by ourselves!
