Two years ago, I would never have seen myself sitting in this position. You only realise how difficult it all is when you find yourself in a situation like this.

I started working for my new employer in 2023. I fell ill in January 2024. Diagnoses of depression and PTSD. As soon as I handed in my sick note, I was dismissed.

I'm now living on sick pay. But as many people out there should know, you don't get your full salary. But as I can't do my job or my mini-job, I'm trying to get by. I've tried walking dogs or doing other little things to earn money.

Unfortunately, I live in the countryside and it's not easy here. I would like to be able to just breathe and not have to worry about my bank account. But no matter where I look, everything is piling up and I don't know how I'm going to manage it.

It doesn't matter whether it's the government office, insurance companies or other companies where you think they'll help you... not a chance. Unfortunately, I don't get any support in my case.
