Hi, my name is Sofia, I'm a trans woman and I'm here to try to get some help for the various feminizing surgeries I'll need to have.

At the beginning of 2023, I began my transition process, publicly admitting, to my family, friends and co-workers, what I have felt since I was little, that I was born in the wrong body.

Since I was a child, I always felt like I was different. Even at that time, I felt like a girl and I just wanted to be able to play with the girls in the building where I lived.

They had long hair, wore dresses, earrings, necklaces and bracelets.

I didn't understand why I couldn't do the same and I tried to forget that feeling.

As I grew up, these feelings of dysphoria took on a new dimension, as I began to notice the differences between my male body and a female body, and no matter how much I tried to forget, it was impossible.

I wanted to free myself and accept my feelings, but the fear of facing family, friends and society made me enter a mental battle that lasted many years, in which I was in internal conflict, trying to repress my feelings as much as possible. I always tried to hide the sadness and anguish I felt. The sleepless nights, trying to find the courage to come out, only to put on a mask again the next day and hide.

I wish I had had the courage that many other trans people had to come out as soon as they were sure.

Finally, at the end of 2022, I created the necessary courage and at the beginning of 2023 I achieved freedom.

I started my hormone therapy in February 2023 and have already changed my name and gender.

I am being monitored in the national health system and I know that I will have to wait years until I am called for sexual reassignment surgery.

Right now, my main objective is to be able to do well socially, and to that end, I am saving all the money I have for laser hair removal and the various feminizing surgeries that I will have to undergo.

All these processes are of immense importance.

It is not easy for me to have to resort to donations to be able to carry out these surgeries, which are very expensive and without help it will be very difficult for me.

I'm desperate and I really need help.
