Zokni, my 9-year-old dog, is a true companion and a source of joy to everyone. I adopted him in 2019, allowing him to leave a terrible past behind him. He has found a safe and loving home with me, and everyone adores him for his sweet, patient and calm nature – I think I can safely say that over the years he has stolen a place in everyone’s heart. Recently, however, I have noticed him feeling dizzy, walking unsteadily and stumbling frequently. An MRI scan revealed that he has developed herniated discs in his cervical and lumbar vertebrae. Although his appetite and spirits remain good, physiotherapy and hydrotherapy are essential for his recovery and to avoid the need for surgery. Unfortunately, the costs of the examinations, the MRI and the three-month course of therapy are extremely high, amounting to over 500,000 HUF.
