In a room measuring just 10 square metres, with no bathroom, no kitchen and no running water, lives a family facing immense hardship: two parents and eight children aged between 2 and 14. The parents cannot read or write, but they work as best they can – collecting recyclable materials, snails and anything else that might bring in a small income to feed their children.

Due to poverty and bullying from classmates, some of the children have been taken out of school. Now, we want to give them a new chance. Our aim is to help them return to the education system, to provide them with clothes, school supplies and everything they need to attend school with dignity. If necessary, we will also cover any enrolment fees.

We want these children not to lose hope in a better future. And we want to give their parents the opportunity to learn to read and write, so that they too can support their little ones.

A lot is needed: clothes, firewood, food, educational support. But with a little from many, we can make a real difference in this family’s life.
