Help Lupa Lake BHC make its mark on the international stage!

Hello everyone! My name is Zsolt Laponyi, and I’m the chairman of the Lupa Lake Beach Handball Sports Club.

Our teams will soon be travelling to Palic in Serbia, where they will represent both our club and Hungary at one of the official tournaments of the European Beach Handball Tour (EBT).

Two of our teams – comprising a total of 22 players and two coaches – will be taking part in the tournament. We had originally managed to budget for the entry fee, accommodation, meals and travel costs; however, during the organisation of the trip, unforeseen additional costs arose which have significantly increased the players’ out-of-pocket expenses.

Our teams will, of course, still be competing, but we would like to reduce the financial burden placed on the players and their families.

We are therefore launching a community fundraising campaign between 16 and 19 July 2026.

 Target amount: €990

If you are able, please support our team – even with the cost of a lunch. Even a small amount makes a big difference, as many small contributions add up to one great shared success.

The entire amount will go towards covering the costs of the team’s international participation:

• entry fee,
• accommodation,
• travel,
• meals.

Should we receive more funding than the target amount, we will use the surplus to support the running and development of Lupa Lake BHC.

Among other things:

• purchasing beach handball balls,
• coaching shirts,
• buoys,
• and other equipment required for training and competitions.
