Hello everyone. I am a father and husband in a family with two young children. Our family, already stretched thin by mortgage payments, building renovations and many other small everyday expenses, has been hit by a sudden, unexpected expense. We are going through a particularly stressful time because we simply cannot see a solution to our problem, and this, more than anything else, is making us feel terrible and bringing this awful state of mind into our home, where we have two children who just want to be children in a peaceful environment. I thought long and hard before launching this fundraising campaign; I truly never imagined in my life that I would have to ask for help in this way.
Anyone who can, in their own way, lend us a hand – even a small contribution – will lift our spirits and give us that reassurance that ‘we’re not alone’.
