Description
There is hardly any work in The Gambia. Many people live from hand to mouth and are often faced with the question of how to feed their families. The situation is particularly bad for single mothers. They are dependent on support to feed their children and pay their school fees. Despite great financial hardship and essential problems, the people are friendly, warm and hopeful. During my travels, I was deeply impressed by the strength of these women and hope for many supporters.
