Description

I was 9 years old when my father put my first radio control in my hands, he was already a racer, and I was just a kid who wanted to remote control his car like dad, it took me a few years before I could catch up with him. We raced together in some races, but in different categories, the first podiums began for me, with him always by my side. Until I became older, a teenager, the first regional podiums came, I was racing together with people who had many years of experience, and perhaps there my father realised there was potential. My father put aside his car and his radio, to focus all the funds on me.

The more I grew, the stronger I became, I was competing with people who were faster, stronger than me and much more experienced, we raced with what we had, we couldn't compete against their cars, but despite our materials and finances being inferior, we always managed to get on the podium, not always on the top step, but maybe on the bottom step.

Over the years we competed in several races, including championships at the Italian level, the last one in 2019, 4 stages across the peninsula, in that year we achieved the title of Italian champions.

That same year, in the summer, there was the European championship in Germany, specifically in Leipzig. I was small, but old enough to understand how much my father invested in me, in our hobby.

That year unfortunately we didn't win that European championship, our engine broke down 3 minutes from the end, after a good 45 minutes of the final, in which we fought from start to finish for first place, first place in which the last 20 minutes of the race we reigned until those fateful 3 minutes.

Those three minutes took a lot from us, took a great chance.

A chance to become real sponsored drivers, and to be able to make a career.

I used to see the other drivers I competed with, between regional, Italian and European championships, all sponsored, with sponsors supporting them around the world.

I don't know what they had more, I was winning against them, I was faster, I was racing accurately. But maybe only my father and I saw all that.

From 2019 to now May 2025, a lot has changed.

My father has suffered 2 heart attacks, including the last one, last year I almost lost him.

Last year he was sick, I couldn't see him, but I could feel it, something was wrong. In order to crown the dream of seeing me European champion on the track at Giardini Naxos, my father skipped several medical examinations, he didn't get checked.

Why? He knew his health situation, and he knew he would be hospitalised immediately.

For that dream my father risked, and I risked not having a father any more.

Since that operation, he promised he would never model again.

He only promised because the doctors denied him any effort, anything that would engage adrenalin and stress, especially at the same time.

I only took up my radio control again in January this year.

With the promise of getting to fulfil that dream of his, to see his son become European Champion.

Unfortunately, I have no sponsors or people to support me, and unfortunately the work I do could never allow me to support such expenses for training, car maintenance and travel to be able to participate in competitions.

Anyone who has the heart to support me, I will be grateful.

Especially should I manage to win that title, I will be grateful for life.
