Bruno was found on the brink of death.

Curled up under a dirty dumpster, soaked in rain, with an injured leg and his ribs clearly visible. His eyes weren't just full of pain - they were full of fear. Fear of people.

Bruno is only 5 years old, yet he has suffered more than any creature ever should.

A veterinary exam confirmed what we feared: Bruno was severely abused. He has an untreated pelvic fracture, chronic skin infection, signs of internal damage, and extreme malnourishment. His body is covered in scars - old and new.

It's likely he spent years chained, with little food, no water, and constant beatings.

Despite this, Bruno accepted help. After just a few days in safety, he rested his head in his rescuer's lap and finally fell asleep - his first peaceful sleep in months.

Veterinary examinations showed that Bruno had been abused for a long time. He has an untreated pelvic fracture, chronic skin inflammation and suspected damage to his internal organs. In addition, he is severely malnourished, full of parasites and psychologically broken.

He has probably lived for a long time on a chain, without access to water or food, exposed to physical violence. His body bears the marks of both old and new injuries.

Against all odds, he allowed himself to be rescued. After his first days in safety, he laid his head in the lap of his temporary caregiver and fell into his first peaceful sleep in many months.
