💔 Floki needs urgent surgery to avoid paralysis💔

Floki was a gift, because his previous family could no longer care for him. Since he arrived, he has been my emotional support. He has been with me through my worst moments and saved me more than once from emotional despair. And now he is the one who needs me... and I cannot do it alone.

My name is Angela Maria and I live in Malaga. I am a victim of gender-based violence. I filed a complaint for real death threats. The day I decided to flee, he almost killed me with a beating. Not only that, but I was a businesswoman and he stole all my money (I will gladly send anyone who requests it the complaint I filed with the national police). I am awaiting trial. On the day I was to be assessed for social assistance, my assistant resigned. Almost two months have passed since then, and I have not received any assistance. With the last €203 I had left (I had to return the car insurance, I can prove it because it is more important to me), I took him to the SOS Animal Hospital in Malaga, where he was treated by one of the best veterinary traumatologists in Spain, Dalmiro Garcia. He was prescribed Previcox, which he took for 9 days. But I haven't been able to take him back to complete the tests because I don't have a single euro left.

Floki is a 1-year-old French bulldog who needs urgent help. His diagnosis is serious and devastating:

• Severe spinal cord compression

• Hemivertebra at T9

• Spondylosis at T8-T9-T10

• Paresis of the hindquarters

• Problems in the hind leg (possible cruciate ligament rupture)

He urgently needs an MRI scan, spinal surgery and possibly orthopaedic surgery. If we don't operate, Floki could become paralysed... and the only option they will give me will be to put him down.

But I cannot allow that to happen.

Floki hardly ever goes outside, and when he does, it's for a maximum of 5 minutes to do his business. He is very sad; he wants to play and go to the park with his friends, but he can't. I have been advised to keep him completely at rest so as not to aggravate his symptoms until I can get the money for his tests and operation. It breaks my heart to see him like this; he is not happy and can't do anything at all.
