Description
This collection of original Hungarian newspapers, comprising tens of thousands of items, is the result of nearly 30 years of collecting. The collection preserves issues of special historical, cultural and press-historical significance, including rare contemporary newspapers, magazines and other publications.
The aim of the funding is to ensure the proper storage, conservation and long-term preservation of the collection, as well as to create a space where these original newspapers can eventually be displayed to the public. Our long-term goal is to establish a genuine “Old Newspaper Museum”, where original printed artefacts from the past can be not only preserved but also exhibited and presented to future generations.
