Black and Yellow Warmth: Together against the cold and hardship

Football brings us together in the stadium, but our responsibility as a Black and Yellow community never ends at the stands. Right on our doorstep in Thuringia, countless people living on the streets suffer from extreme hardship, particularly during the cold months. Anyone who has ever been outside in freezing temperatures knows that a full stomach, reliable food and protection from the cold are vital for survival at this time of year.

Through our ‘Black and Yellow Warmth’ initiative, the Thuringian BVB fan clubs are joining forces to provide concrete, unbureaucratic and targeted support where the need is greatest.

Why this fundraiser?

This donation fund will provide the financial basis for us to step in exactly where urgent gaps arise. Donations in kind alone cannot cover every specific need. With your financial donations, we can act quickly, effectively and without bureaucratic hurdles:

• Non-perishable food & provisions: We purchase non-perishable staple foods, warming meals and energy-rich snacks that can be consumed easily without the need for a hob.

• Appropriate cold-weather gear: If there is a shortage of winter-proof sleeping bags, insulated mats, thermal underwear or sturdy gloves, we can purchase these specifically and in the right sizes.

Every contribution counts!

Whether it’s 5, 10 or 50 euros: every cent donated goes directly towards supporting homeless people in Thuringia. Let’s show together that our black-and-yellow family stands up for one another and lives by true values such as solidarity, humanity and cohesion.

Thank you for your support – through every euro and by sharing this appeal. Let’s get stuck in!

This fundraising campaign is a project organised by the Association of Thuringian BVB Fan Clubs!
