Hello, I’m a student and I have to complete a compulsory work placement this summer to qualify for my degree. I’ve been offered a work placement in Japan that I’m very interested in, but I can’t afford the flight tickets, which cost around €1,200, or accommodation there. There are grants and scholarships for internships at my university, but they won’t be enough at all because some of these grants don’t apply to Japan, and the ones I’m eligible for aren’t even enough to cover the flight, let alone accommodation, daily food, the visa, insurance… and the fact that my internship won’t be paid
