**Help us rebuild our lives and keep our family safe**

Five years ago, we left our country and part of the family behind, in search of a better future for our four children. We emigrated full of hope and courage, ready to face any challenge to give them a safer environment and better opportunities. However, the reality has been tough. We spent months unemployed, living off our savings, which quickly ran out. With the rising cost of living, things only got harder, and the pandemic, followed by the war, made it even worse.

After a few months I got a job, and my wife was also re-alocated after 1 year. Besides the regular full-time job, I tried everything to increase my family income, and keep our life balanced. I worked late nights as a Uber driver, dove into digital marketing, invested in financial markets, and dedicated myself to numerous other ventures. But with the demands of a full-time job and the needs of my family, I couldn’t find the time or resources to make any of these endeavors succeed.

Today, after so much effort, I find myself in a situation I never thought I’d be in. Our debt has reached 65,000 euros. This is the last month we can survive without help. From now on I am not able to pay the debt and the bank will soon charge it, and then there will be no money to pay for basic needful things, including my rent. We are one step away from losing everything, from seeing our children, who came in search of safety and opportunities, left without a home.

The amount we are asking for is not just to pay off debt. It represents a chance to start over, to finally get our lives back on track. With this help, we will be able to clear all our debts, and by freeing ourselves from this burden, we will have the opportunity to breathe again and begin rebuilding our future.

Moreover, I am making a commitment of gratitude: I always used to help those in need whenever I had the means, and teach my kids to do the same. This is something I can´t afford now, but I want to do so again. As a way to give back, I promise to not only hep people in need but also use this opportunity to demonstrate to my kids the importance and the value of solidarity and empathy.

**Ajude-nos a reconstruir nossa vida e a manter nossa família segura**

Há cinco anos, deixei meu país e parte de minha família para traz, emigrei com meus quatro filhos cheios de esperança e coragem, e disposto a enfrentar qualquer desafio para proporcionar a eles um ambiente seguro e com melhores oportunidades. No entanto, a realidade foi dura. Embora tivessemos um bom planejamento e condições financeiras, ficamos desempregados por meses, vivendo de nossas economias que logo foram se esgotando. Com o aumento do custo de vida, as dificuldades só cresceram, e a pandemia, seguida pela crise causada pela guerra, tornou tudo mais difícil.

Passados alugns meses eu estava empregado e após 1 ano, minha esposa também estava. Além do emprego em tempo integral, tentei de tudo para aumentar a renda da minha família e mantermos nossa vida estável. Trabalhei longas madrugadas como Uber, mergulhei no marketing digital, investi em mercados financeiros e me dediquei a inúmeras outras iniciativas. Mas, com as demandas de um trabalho em tempo integral e as necessidades da minha família, não consegui o tempo ou os recursos necessários para fazer qualquer um desses empreendimentos prosperar. 

Hoje, após tanto esforço, me encontro em uma situação que jamais imaginei viver. Nossa dívida chegou a 65 mil euros. Este é o último mês em que conseguiremos nos manter sem ajuda. A partir daqui, não conseguirei mais manter os pagamentos em dia e em breve o bacno começará a cobrar esse valor, impossibilitando o pagamento das contas básicas. Estamos a um passo de perder tudo, de ver nossos filhos 4 filhos, que vieram em busca de segurança e oportunidades, desamparados e sem um teto para dormir.

Esse valor que estamos pedindo não é apenas para pagar uma dívida. Ele significa uma chance de recomeçar, de finalmente ter condições de voltar nossas vidas aos trilhos. Com essa ajuda, poderemos quitar todas as dívidas e, ao nos livrarmos desse peso, teremos a oportunidade de respirar e voltar a construir um futuro.

Além disso, assumo aqui um compromisso de gratidão: Ao longo da vida, sempre fiz questão de ajudar quem estava em necessidade quando eu tinha condições, e ensino meus filhos a praticar o mesmo. Eu pretendo voltar a fazê-lo, por isso, além de retribuir em forma de ajuda a quem precisa, também aproveitarei a oportunidade para demonstrar aos meus filhos a importancia e o valor da solidariedade e da empatia.
