Hello, my name is Trif Mihaela Ancuța and I am a single mother from Romania, living in the city of Arad. My passion for cooking and my desire to do good have inspired me to want to start this business – specifically, to open a patisserie that goes beyond simply creating delicious cakes. I dream of a place where desserts bring smiles, and where the skills learnt in the kitchen open up paths to a brighter and better future.

Why this project is important:

My dream is to open a patisserie that will become a refuge and an opportunity for children in care homes and for families facing financial difficulties. Here’s how:

For the children:

The patisserie will organise free cooking classes for children in care homes, giving them the chance to learn valuable skills, build their confidence and experience the joy of creating something beautiful and delicious. At every celebration, we will share smiles and sweets made with love.

For families in need:

We will organise free cooking and baking classes for parents and families facing financial difficulties. These lessons will teach them practical skills they can use at home or even to create a source of income.

As the bakery grows, so will our impact on the community, allowing us to touch more lives and instil hope in the hearts of many.

What we need:

To turn this dream into reality, I need your help to raise €12,000. The funds will be used for:

Professional appliances and equipment: Essential items such as ovens, mixers and refrigerated display cabinets.

Materials for pastry-making courses: Cake tins, trays and decorating tools, used in the free courses.

Raw materials: Ingredients for the first batches of cakes and for lessons.
