The Egyekért Tisza Sziget community has lost a key member and friend in the tragic and sudden passing of Gyula Orosz.

Gyula was not only a pillar of our community, but also a figure held in high esteem by the whole town. As a member of the neighbourhood watch, he served Egyek for many years, always conscientiously, selflessly and tirelessly. Many knew him for his helpfulness, punctuality, reliability and the fact that he could be counted on in almost any situation.

Following his tragic loss, the family must not only face unbearable grief but also financial burdens that are particularly difficult to cope with in this trying time.

For this reason, Egyekért Tisza Sziget is launching a fundraising campaign to support Gyula Orosz’s family. We intend to use the funds raised to cover the costs of legal proceedings arising from the tragic accident, as well as funeral expenses.

We believe in the power of community. Many people knew and loved Gyula, so we are confident that many small acts of kindness combined can provide real support to his loved ones during this extremely difficult time.
