My little Dorian is a beautiful vibrant 2 year old who since summer of 2024 was diagnosed with severe temporal lobe epilepsy. In October my family and I received diagnosis that he also has cerebral palsy. We learned in January then, after MRIs dated in June were looked at together with a neurosurgeon, he correctly diagnosed frontal lobe epilepsy. Medication options are limited in Ireland so there isn't much they can offer my son.
We need to raise funds to go to Florida in order to seek him treatment in a children's hospital that specialises in his condition. The only option left in Ireland is to give him brain surgery. This is scheduled for the end of this month. He needs to be seen by a team of doctors. It is a very invasive procedure and because of this I would like to seek further professional opinion on his specific case given his age so he can have the best chance at life and live happily and successfully.
