Our friend Edith unfortunately passed away suddenly just before New Year's Eve. Now her son Christoph is not only dealing with the shock and grief, but also with her house, her dogs, some bills that have accumulated and her bank account, which was of course blocked immediately.

As Christoph used to live with her and is already retired himself due to a serious illness (he only receives a very small pension), he is now facing massive problems. The running costs for energy, etc./internet/dog food; bills that have recently accrued that he has to pay or pay off; the funeral, etc. The death certificate, for example, costs a lot of money. We are currently assuming that the probate will take at least 6 months, that he won't be able to keep the house and therefore, apart from having to vacate it, he will also need a place to stay afterwards. Christoph is still in shock and extremely overwhelmed at the moment. We would like to help him, also in the spirit of Edith, to get through this difficult time at least a little better.
