Crowdfunding request for LOST BOYS - Hand Stitched Stories - Giving New Life to Fashion and Memories

Dear supporters,

LOSTBOYS was born out of a deep, personal story: the passing of my grandfather. I have always been fond of his clothes, witnesses of a life lived, of precious moments and memories that I did not want to lose. Hence the idea of giving new life to his clothes, transforming them into unique pieces thanks to the collaboration with a friend who was an expert in upcycling.

The name is inspired by 'lost boys', a concept that for me represents the cycle of life. When you get older, you become a little bit of a child again, and once you are gone, you are lost. Even clothes that belonged to someone tend to get lost, forgotten or discarded. But LOST BOYS wants to reverse this process by giving them a second chance.

Moreover, LOST BOYS' clothes are very reminiscent of current second-hand fashion: lived-in clothes, full of character, reworked in a creative and unique way.

LOST BOYS is not just an upcycling brand, but a way to keep people's memories alive through fashion. Each garment is transformed into a unique, sustainable and contemporary piece, without waste. It is a choice of the heart, but also of environmental responsibility: reducing consumption, enhancing what already exists and reinterpreting it in a contemporary way.

The first pilot collection will be made entirely from my grandfather's clothes and will be presented through an exhibition in his honour. This event will not only promote the project, but will also be a tribute to memory and sustainability, showing how fashion can become a means to tell stories and give new life to memories.

To bring this project to life we need your support to:

• Pay for the labour to transform the garments at our upcycling expert's studio
• Develop our e-commerce on Shopify to make the products accessible to everyone
• Organise the inaugural exhibition to present the pilot collection and share the value of the project
• Create content and marketing strategies to spread our vision
• Produce the logo and graphic material necessary for the visual identity of the brand and the communication of the project
