Description
Hello,
I really don’t want to go through this, but if it can help me, that would be very kind.
To start with, I had some health problems in 2018. They came up towards the end of my work-study BTS course. I had to have an operation, and once my recovery period was over, I was ready to resume my work-study programme. Except that the company sent me documents by post terminating my contract, along with a final settlement statement. So I realised that, because of this operation, I’d lost the job I could have kept. I went on to hold several jobs in the same field, with quite a few months on unemployment benefit in between, but then it happened again: in 2019, my illness returned. And it’s still with me today. My illness itself isn’t serious, but I’ve undergone a lot of operations and a lot of tests. And as of today, we still have no leads or any idea as to what my illness is or where it comes from. From 2019 to 2019, I was on sick leave undergoing tests and operations, even to the point of having a nerve stimulator implanted, but it wasn’t a success – it didn’t make any difference to my condition.
I wasn’t earning much whilst on sick leave; I was in debt for a long time and still am. My mum, the only one of my parents with an income, has always been there to help me cover my debts (as I live in my own flat and can’t move back in with her). Not to mention that she has plenty of bills to pay herself.
To be honest, I currently owe her around 2,000 euros. Even though she doesn’t ask for anything in return, I still feel I owe her, and since I fell ill I haven’t been able to give her a gift that does her justice.
As things stand, I’m still in need.
The donation amount is really the maximum I can ask for; it will enable me to repay what I owe my mother, to try and give her a lovely present, and the rest will allow me to get by until I find a job that suits my health, as I can no longer exert myself physically without suffering terribly.
I’m not asking for, nor do I expect to receive, that much money, but if your generosity can help me give my mum a really lovely present, I’ll pray for you, my generous benefactors, that your lives may be wonderful; this will also enable me to cover the cost of travelling to see specialists who are increasingly further away from my home. And also to feed myself and my pets.
