Make hiking adventures accessible to everyone Since last year, my partner and I have been dreaming of exploring the mountains and going hiking. Unfortunately, we couldn't afford it and neither could many of our friends and relatives. This got us thinking: why isn't there a community where people can rent hiking gear or organise affordable group trips around Europe? So we set up Fund Elevate, a website designed to connect people through community hiking experiences. You can join group treks, rent or share trekking gear or donate to help us grow and build this inclusive trekking community. Here's a glimpse of the destinations we plan to explore in 2025 and 2026. In addition, we introduced our own trekking brand, Makalu (inspired by the fifth highest mountain in the world). Our brand offers high quality hiking clothing and gear at an affordable price, ensuring that everyone has access to the best gear for their adventures.
