Help Jagoda and Hubert Rebuild After the Devastating Kłodzko Flood

After four days of record-breaking rainfall, a catastrophic flood swept through the Kłodzko region in southern Poland. A violent surge of water, rushing down from the local mountains, destroyed homes and lives in an instant.

Jagoda and Hubert, a young couple and pawrents of two cats, lost everything when the muddy waters flooded their ground-floor rental flat, rising all the way to the ceiling. They were able to save only essential documents, a few clothes, and small valuables before evacuating, but nothing more.

Though they had insurance, the compensation they received will cover only a fraction of the costs for their destroyed furniture, not to mention the loss of clothes, books, sports equipment, cat supplies, and countless other daily essentials.

They are a humble, kind-hearted couple who, despite the immense hardship, hesitate to ask for help. We are thankful that they are safe, but starting over from scratch is overwhelming. That’s why we, their family, have created this fundraiser—to help them rebuild their lives.

We’re raising funds to support their recovery. While we’re not sure exactly how much they will need, we know that if there are any excess donations, they would want to pass them on to help other local families who have also been impacted by the flood.
