I am a loving mother of two lovely boys age 7 and 9. Since they were babies, we wanted them to be absolutely in love with any kind of art. When the time came to look for a school, both his father and me decided to enroll them in a half private school, which counts with the collaboration of a wonderful music school. Since they are 3 they have been to Musical Language classes. When the elder one was 5, we decided , counting with his opinion of course, to enroll him in violin classes at school. The same happened with the little one. He decided to play the cello (we believe it is because it is like a big violin, bigger than his brother's). I have always been in love with all kinds of arts, especially with music, and I enrolled myself , some years before my sons were born, in flute lessons. My husband and I have very humble salaries, although we both work full time in big companies, but we have made the big effort to keep them in this school and pay for their extra classes of violin and cello. This year, thank to the universe, the elder one passed the exam in the conservatory with a very high grade and he is starting in September. The little one will have to wait for another year, as the starting age is 8 but he is really looking forward to go to the conservatory and he is completely sure he wants to play the cello and no other instrument. In the meantime, we are devoted to music. We play everyday and enjoy it so much. Recently we heard that my elder son has an absolute pitch, which is a very particular condition and a gift for music. And the little one is going the same way. I have never been to official music classes, and our family dream is to create a band and hopefully compose our own music to enjoy this wonderful path together.
