💔 When nature takes everything...

On 28 May 2025, in Blatten, a beautiful Alpine village in the Lötschental valley in Switzerland, a landslide destroyed almost everything. A massive wave of ice, rock and earth, triggered by the melting of the Birch Glacier, buried 90% of the village. Just a few hours earlier, the authorities had evacuated around 300 residents.

Despite this, one person remains missing.

Homes, infrastructure, memories – all vanished beneath a tonne of rubble.

The funds raised will be used to:

helping individuals and families who have lost their homes,

purchasing essential daily necessities (food, clothing, medicines),

covering the costs of temporary accommodation,

helping to restore basic community services,

in the long term – rebuilding life in Blatten.

We are in contact with local residents and supporters on the ground, who will distribute the funds directly to those affected.
