I recently lost my job, and times have been tough but not as tough as they would’ve been without one special person: my girlfriend. She’s from the Philippines, in her second year of college, and her birthday is coming up on June 26th.

We’ve been together for 1 year and 7 months, and through every struggle, every low point, and every moment I questioned myself, she’s stood by me kind, patient, and supportive. I’ve been through pain and trauma in the past, and she’s helped me heal in ways I never thought possible.

This time, I want to show her how much she means to me. I want to get her something special and meaningful. Just something that can make her smile the way she’s made me smile so many times. I know I’m not in the best position right now, but with your support, I can give back to the person who’s given me so much without ever asking for anything in return.
