La Cala Lions Club was formed 26 years ago and have since then, worked tirelessly to help the less fortunate locally this includes feeding families, supporting children needing specialised medical care, paying for equipment to enable children to enjoy many sports played locally, funding educational aids for schools, helping to feed the homeless, animal shelters, we also have our own Alzheimers Carer's Support Group, Diabetic Support Group and the many more associations and charities we support. Also, through Lions International we support overseas disasters. We as Lions’ members are able to serve others through the public’s generosity, supporting our social activities and charity shop, by shopping from us and giving daily donations.


Our event Strictly Olivia's, Dancing for Dementia on 22nd October is specifically to raise funds for our Alzheimers Support Group which in turn will help people in our community suffering from Alzheimers as well as their families and carers.
