Hello everyone, we are the ‘Lăbuțele lui Brezoi’ Association and we are dedicated, with love and passion, to rescuing, caring for and finding loving homes for stray animals.

We are launching this fundraising campaign, which will serve as a permanent fund for neutering in Tulcea County. Our aim is to reduce the uncontrolled breeding of animals and, by extension, their suffering. It is not right to turn a blind eye to the thousands of puppies that are born every year. They are helpless and exposed to many risks. It is clear that animal welfare organisations are taking in animals at full capacity, but there are not enough responsible adopters for all the animals available. Together, we can make a big difference for the better!

We neuter stray animals, as well as those with owners, when the owners cannot afford the cost of the operation. We allocate around 200 lei for each operation and travel to various villages. We cannot cope with the high volume of requests for neutering, but we hope never to have to turn anyone away in the future. That is why we rely on the kindness and commitment of animal lovers everywhere to help us keep this project going. It is a collective effort, which we owe to our four-legged friends.

Updates on the number of sterilisations will be posted regularly on Instagram and Facebook. The donation subscription can be stopped at any time, but one-off donations can also be made. We encourage the subscription option, where possible, to ensure the stability of our funds. Thank you for any donation, and for helping to spread the word about our initiatives.
