Hello, I’m Joan Kmachine, a tattoo artist and piercer with years of studio experience. I’m fighting every day to get back on my feet after going through some very difficult times. I just need a little help to keep doing what I love. Following the pandemic and a number of personal issues, I was forced to give up my job. Today I’m still tattooing from home, but I can’t offer piercings due to a lack of supplies. Everything I earn goes back into ink and tools, and I have no room to grow.
I am asking for €1,000 to buy the necessary supplies and resume my piercing service, increase my income and, little by little, create my own professional space.
I’ve been through depression, anxiety and some very dark times, but I’m still here, fighting on with the support of my psychologist and my mum, who is my greatest source of motivation. I just want to have a decent life, make a living from what I know how to do, and give something back for everything she’s given me.
